SECTION 01 • WHO WE ARE

Columbus Concrete Solutions — One Company, One City, One Focus

Columbus Concrete Solutions is a concrete contractor built specifically for the Columbus metro — one service area, one focus, one team.

We handle residential and commercial concrete work across Columbus and Franklin County. Driveways, patios, foundations, sidewalks, retaining walls, decorative finishes — all of it.

Founded
2025

Built for Columbus from day one — no inherited shortcuts, every standard chosen for local conditions.

Local Office
100 East
Campus View Blvd

Columbus, OH 43235. Real address inside the city — not a PO box.

Local Number

Columbus-area number, not a forwarding line from somewhere else.

We’re here because Columbus needs concrete contractors who take local building codes seriously. We built that commitment in from the start.

A white Ford F-450 work truck with the Columbus Concrete Solutions orange and gray CC logo on the driver's door, parked at a construction supply yard with stacked lumber, steel forms, and yellow concrete forming materials in the background. A worker wearing a white hard hat and dark jacket sits in the driver's seat, ready to head to a job site. The image conveys the company's hands-on, field-ready approach to concrete contracting across the Columbus, Ohio metro area.

SECTION 02 • WHY 2025

Why We Started This Business in Columbus in 2025

Columbus Concrete Solutions was founded in 2025 to serve a market growing faster than quality concrete work could keep pace.

Columbus is one of the fastest-growing cities in the Midwest. New subdivisions are going up in Hilliard, Pickerington, and New Albany every season. Older neighborhoods on the west and near-north sides have aging concrete that needs real assessment — not a reflexive replacement recommendation. Commercial development tied to Central Ohio’s logistics boom demands flatwork that holds up under forklift traffic and Ohio winters.

We started this company to do that work right.

Starting in 2025 meant building every standard from scratch — because there was no other option. No inherited equipment. No legacy shortcuts. Every specification was chosen because it fits Columbus conditions, not because it was carried over from somewhere else.

What That Looks Like
  • Air-entrained concrete specified on every exterior pour before the mix is ordered
  • Sub-base depth assessed to the actual soil conditions on each property
  • Permit requirements confirmed at the scoping stage, not discovered mid-project

We don’t have a decade of reviews. We do have a clear operating address, a Columbus phone number, and a documented commitment to code compliance on every job. That’s the foundation this business is built on.

SECTION 03 • WHAT WE CAN CONFIRM

What We Can Confirm — and What We Won’t Claim Until We’ve Earned It

Accountability means being honest about what’s confirmed — and not inflating credentials to close a sale.

Here’s what we can confirm from our operating practice:

Confirmed 01
Columbus & Franklin County Code Compliance

We comply with Columbus and Franklin County building codes on every project.

Confirmed 02
Permit Coordination

Curb-cut permits through Columbus Public Service. Structural permits for retaining walls over four feet. Coordinated where required.

Confirmed 03
OUPS Utility Locating

We contact OUPS (Ohio Utility Protection Service — the “Call 811” locating service required by Ohio law) before any excavation begins on a project.

Confirmed 04
Air-Entrained Concrete Standard

We use air-entrained concrete on all exterior flatwork. That’s a non-negotiable specification for Ohio’s freeze-thaw climate, not an upgrade.

What We Won’t Claim

We currently hold no industry certifications or formal trade licenses beyond operating compliance with Columbus and Franklin County requirements. We won’t claim credentials we haven’t earned. If that changes, we’ll update this page.

SECTION 04  •  OUR BASELINE STANDARDS

The Specifications We Build Into Every Columbus Concrete Project

Every Columbus Concrete Solutions project starts with written specifications — before a single form goes in the ground.

Our baseline standards exist because Columbus’s clay soil and freeze-thaw cycle punish concrete that’s poured without proper preparation. Six non-negotiables go into every job:

01
SPEC 01
Air-entrained concrete mix
60+ FREEZE-THAW CYCLES/YR

On all exterior surfaces. Required for Ohio’s freeze-thaw climate.

02
SPEC 02
Compacted gravel sub-base
4–6″ MINIMUM DEPTH

Isolates the slab from clay soil movement beneath it.

03
SPEC 03
Drainage slope
⅛–¼” PER FOOT

For outdoor flatwork. Confirmed and set during forming.

04
SPEC 04
Control joints placed
10–15′ SPACED INTERVALS

Determines where concrete will crack, not whether it will.

05
SPEC 05
Permit scope in writing
Day 1 FIRST CONSULTATION

Confirmed before scoping. No mid-project surprises.

06
SPEC 06
OUPS utility locating
Call 811 OHIO LAW

Completed before any excavation. Followed without exception.

The Bottom Line

These aren’t premium options. They’re the baseline for any concrete that’s supposed to last in Central Ohio.

SECTION 05 • OUR COMMITMENT

Our Commitment to Every Columbus Project in Plain Language

Every project scope, specification, and assessment is delivered in writing — before any work begins. We commit to this on every job:
Our Standing Promise
1
Written proposal that breaks down the scope. Slab thickness, mix specification, sub-base depth, surface finish, and any permit requirements. No lump sums. No verbal agreements that disappear.
2
Written findings before any recommendation. If your project needs an assessment, you’ll receive the findings in writing first. That applies to repair vs. replacement decisions as much as it does to new installs.

SECTION 06  •  AREAS WE SERVE

That includes Dublin, Westerville, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Gahanna, Grove City, New Albany, Reynoldsburg, and Pickerington. Projects in adjacent counties are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
